I tended bar and waited tables in several high volumne steakhouse establishments and trendy bars during the 70's(while in college). Over the years, I have moonlighted. I was trained on the job by "old school" bartenders, if I can use the word "old" (my wife says "traditional" is better). I did a gig at a Mexican restaurant in the mid 90's for about a year while in transition. Then some on-call special event/banguet work for the Hyatt in the late 90's. All work was high volume, bar and dining room service combined. I still have the moves, wit, and other qualities to perform well and want to get back in the biz full time. I am still good looking, youthful, and fit, physically and mentally. Even though I am older, do I have a chance in this market?
