Finding a Bartending Job in South Florida

I'm a young but seasoned bartender. I learned how to bartend like most of the best out there, I started at the bottom and worked my way up. I have worked and excelled in truly top-notch establishments, places with celebrities as clients monthly revenues in the millions. I'm also very good looking and present myself extremely well. Having just moved back to the South Florida area, I'm trying to figure out why I can't seem to land a job. I have an excellent resume and letter of recommendation from my previous employment, but nothing I do seems to be working. I know that it's in part because the economy is so crappy and nobody is trying to give up a top tier gig, but I also know that if I were a hot chick with 0 experience I would have no problem landing a job. It's gotten to the point where I am seriously considering applying to gay night clubs. It's obviously not ideal but I know there is a lot of money to be made at those places, and I need to make a lot of money.

Any suggestions? Any jobs? I appreciate anything.
