How did you get your start doing Brand Ambassador work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Search Google for Event Marketing, Youth Marketing, Event Staffing and other similar terms as well as Brand Ambassador. Also check on Craigslist. You simply sign up with a company and if they like you, they will send you emails with open listings. You need to check your email very often because the jobs go very quickly.

I agree with the above poster, that is the best way to do and it how I got into the business. I am currently signed up with 3 different companies, 2 I found on Craigslist and 1 thru a friend. Once are with one company it is easier to learn about others by talking with the other Ambassador and inquiring about places they have dealt with.

What exactly is a brand ambassador and what do you do? do you get to choose which event to participate in... would you recommend it for a college student as a way to make extra income?
