I got my commercial building inspector certified from the international code council in june 09-07. it has been hard to find a job right now. I been in the construction work for 25 years.

try testing labs in your area and i am sure they will hire you with a good salary because the majority of states are insisting on certifications.

Does anyone have any experience with City of San Jose Building department? I am testing for building inspector position. Curious if anyone could help me prepare or know what to expect?
Experiences with any other building departments would be helpful too.
