I'm a Business Development Manager right now, in one of Indonesia's Telecommunication Industry Manufacturing.
As it for me, basicly we (BDM) require these point:
1. Broad Knowledge of Business rather than Depth
2. Visionary in defining the requirement of Development in the business
3. Keep updating its knowledge of current business best practice, then try to see if it match with the company.
