Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field? What skills should you learn to increase your salary? |

at least here in washington when jobs existed lol, typically salary was $15.00 an hour to start provided you have an AA or equal experience, with as much as $25+ once you became a lead cad drafter (usually involves several years of commitment with one company) Currently alot of companies are Hiring for as low as $10 an hour, requiring more experience and additional programs just to even be interview, basically the salary potential has been cut by 1/4 to 1/2 for starting pay...there are too many drafters and not enough demand and work, so people will work for peanuts and the companies know this... I wish I could say some great things but, as of now I'm still looking for a job and considering going to the navy, I was let go last july after 3 years with the same company and have applied at many jobs and only had one interview with a company that turns out didnt actually have the funds to hire ahhaah good times! |
