i have a drug conviction 5yrs old and cant find a cdl job any ideas? Pittsburgh,PA

I have a drug sale felony conviction and went to keystone diesel truck driving school. I get the same answer from every company i apply for....NO. any ideas on where to look for a cdl class a job with tanker,double and triple endorsements

Unfortunately many companies are looking for at least a ten year span between a drug felony and employment. Your school, Keystone Diesel Truck Driving School, should have been aware of this before they enrolled you.

Your best bet is to try small, local companies. Some of the smaller companies are more flexible and can give you a chance. Keep applying at the local front and you might end up in the right place at the right time. Don't bother with the larger OTR companies that your school normally works with, these companies have strict regulations, as you have already found out.

Be persistent with the locals, CSA2010 laws will be put into play soon and many small companies will start evaluating their fleet drivers, this may give you an "in".
