well look at the name Waste management then think about that big WM on the side of the truck.. short for Waste Mobsters. they are union so you may wanna look into that as part of the reason also have you looked at your DAC report. That and with 20years exp. they probably don't wanna pay you those high wages. just my thought on the matter. |

Your age and experience is the problem--they don't want to foot the workman's compensation and other insurance cost (vehicle accident and driver/family medical) increases attendant to hiring an older driver with an "history" of actual or actuarial medical issues and traffic violations (no matter how minor). Your "experience" makes you more difficult to train. After having done a thing one particular way for 20 years, even the best of us would find old proven methods difficult to change. This does not imply that a previously used method doesn't have its merit, its just not the way they want it done. Its a matter of having all training and performance of duty consistent with one set of expectations. Good luck and keep trying. You may find something you like more. |

Was then informed no job because of a misdomeanor 2 1/2 years ago. must wait 6 more months to reapply. Sunk everything into the move. now broke and if I can't arainge something with landlord, my family will be homeless. |

It's really hard to find a good truck driving job these days. What I'm about to do is choose a job, and just go in and start working. |
