I recently moved to florida from missouri. Where i was working as a na and taking the cna classes. I only had three classes left and was scheduled to take the exam on may 7th. Does anyone know what I can do to finish my classes here for free or very cheap. Because I am not currently working and have two small children to care for. And I would like to advance my carrier as a CNA here in florida. I would appreciated it if anyone new how to solve my problem.

To change your name on the registry, please send a copy of the legal document that changed your name and write the last four digits of your Social Security Number on the document for identification purposes. Please include a copy of your current driver’s license (if you have one or an ID card from the driver’s license bureau if you have one). Once the Department receives this information, the correction will be made and a registry verification letter will be sent to you reflecting the changes.

depending on how long it has been (general rule is the 2yr validation) you might have to completely retake classes and an exam again
