What is the worst? the most common? are CNA's allowed to insert a catharter ( a urine cath) Or is it non- invasive care? I would like to try nursing but am shy and want to go slowly. I figure CNA would be the quickest way to find out if nursing is right for me? Any feedback is much appreciated. |

I think you should do what suits you and what you are passionate in doing. |

I am a CNA in a subacute department of a hospital. Cna's change diapers, get people dressed, baith people, and basicly help people with anything that they need. You dont get to insert cathaters or anything below the skin. If you are interested in being a nurse and want to get your cna. Try working in the hospital and you will witness what it is like. In a nursing home you dont work with many Rn's and you dont get the real feel of how it would be as a nurse. |
