I am living in Trinidad in the West Indies, presently i am an instructor in the machine shop area in my technical institute for the past 8 years.I also have 7years experience working in the machine shop.What is the prceedure to becoming a cnc machinist. |

Metalworking is as much a craft as a science. It is a profession that dates back to the bronze age, and even earlier. A good machinist uses his mind, but also his five senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, and yes, even taste at times) and also a lot of gut instinct. If you've been machining every day for 40 years, you still have more to learn. It can be a very rewarding profession. Good Luck. |
