How did you get your start doing Captain work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Take your test for your License. My boyfriend was a Shrimper for YEARS, got enough time working on the Waters, got hired as Crew Boat Operator,took his USCG test and is now a Licensed Captain, it's good to know how to read radar, talk on the radio for traffic in waterways, and how to direct people in dangerous situations. MUST KNOW CPR and BASIC FIRST AID!!
