I want to tow a 4 car trailer hauler (2 Axles) for which the just the trailer weight will be up to 23,000 lbs (Not including the weight of the truck).

I do not know what truck I need to buy. I have seen pictures of people hauling this type of trailers using a Ram 3500, F 350 and Sierra 3500.

I would appreciate any advise. Thnxs.

trailer weight 23000lbs you better have a cdl! most guys running duallys run them because they dont need a cdl! you can pull that trailer with a dually, but you need to weigh the pros and cons to it! you can buy a road tractor that is used cheaper than you can buy a dually! new duallys are extremely expensive to finance and insure! all the new duallys that are out now are junk! doesnt matter WHAT MAKE they all have problems and cant stay on the road. pro to buying a dually is better gas mileage(10mpg)! cons wont last, expensive to fix, expensive to buy, expensive to insure! there are very few insurance companies that will even insure duallys commercially! i would buy a single axle road truck for $5 or $6000 drive it for a year or two and buy another one! just keep in mind that a 3 car hauler it is very difficult to make money with right now because of the low shipping prices! if u do happen to buy a dually buy a used one and older model ford with a 7.3 or an older duramx with a 6.6! whatever you do dont buy a ford 6.0 or a ford 6.4 these trucks cant stay out of the shop for a month!

With the dully depend in Florida as far as DOT if yur truck weight 11000 and your trailer around 14000 you dont need a CDL ... if you get a heavier trailer then yes but you can put a heavy trailer in a dully even tho they are made to pull that will kill the trany ..

i have a cdl A with a/b, but i think that eqipment would be way to big , in the medal industry i am still new and small, with a smaller cash flow

What do you guys think about a 2007 regular cab dodge 3500 dually with the 5.9 diesel for hauling a 3 or 4 car trailer?
