I am looking for an elderly grandmother, who is self-sufficient for the most part, but needs someone who is willing to help her out with some errands occasionally and wants company in exchange for room and board. I am also willing to cook healthy meals on occasion and can drive to appointments for a small negotiable amount. I am a 27 year old female with experience taking care of my paralyzed grandmother for over 7 years. I do, however, not want to assume the role of a professional caregiver, and I need enough time in the day/night to leave to provide tutoring, and research and write.

My parents live in the Los Feliz area and are looking for someone to help out a little. They are pretty self-sufficient, but I would feel more comfortable with someone else around in case one of them were to fall, or something like that. Also, they do not drive much anymore. My email is micheleash@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!

Hi,
I am a Pastor in the Phillipiines who has experience in caregiver and even goes out on Medical missions from time to time. I feel the need to serve the elderly, so if you can bring me in on a working visa, I willbe willing to serve your family. i am 32 years old.

Look up the site www.caringuk.com for excellent respite homes in North Wales. They provide for short term stays or respite care which may, in some cases, lead to long term care. The Cedar and Pen-Y-Garth offer a specific care package that is designed around your individual needs.
