Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming category analyst interview? Are there common interview questions that come up again and again? |

Relax and come prepared. Remember there is always going to be someone smarter, prettier, funnier, and likeable. What you have to do is bring you sample work, volunteer good references, and most of all confidence. If you have proven yourself through good work, they should speak for themselves. Those best examples are the presentations utilizing many reports into a selling story. Always have good references, and I am not talking about peers, but your superior , VPs, or director level. I can job hop all I want and have no problems getting hired because I have damn good references from all levels and customers. Be confident. Remember you would not be interviewing they did not think you have anything to offer. When inteviewing they will ask you the tools you use and you tell them. The important thing is to distinguish yourelf from the data pullers, any noodlehead can run a report, and be a solution provider. |
