Hi! I am considering an MA program because my family relocates every few years and I want to be flexible and able to find a job. I want to have a specific skills set (or sets) as I have a general studies bachelor degree that is not that helpful in finding a job. I am interested in health care, but do not want to be a nurse.

Anyway, I have a pretty good idea of what MAs learn but would like to know what jobs one could look for besides working in medical offices. Hospitals around here hire MAs as PCTs and waive the experience requirement, plus I figure you could do phlebotomy, maybe work as a lab assistant (the level below MLT), possibly EKG tech? And of course any office work that does not require a certified coder or RHIT certification, right?

What have I missed?

Thanks!
