I'm recently relocated from Pontiac Michigan and looking to attend/retake the CNA exam. I've previoulsy held the certification in Michigan but figured retaking the class/test would probably be better.

Log-on to www.bvnpt.ca.gov you will find their contact number if you are converting your LVN license from another state to Cali but if you obtain your LVN license in Cali and you are from another state call your state nursing board also before coming to Cali, hope this help you.

I am currently working here in Port Orcahrd WA state as a CNA, but i would like to Transfer to work in Salinas California, I would like to know what im going to do to be able to work in California as a CNA since that my license is from here in WA State.

You should just transfer your licence.

There are plenty of places to get your CNA in San Diego, Golden Care Academy, Maric College, SDCC Continuing Ed.

My brother is looking for a CNA on-the-job-training position in a facility in the Chula Vista, National City or San Diego area that will compensate him while he's going to school to get a license. He just recently immigrated to the US. He has a valid California drivers license and is a permanent resident.

I do not know if the place still does, but at one time did do on the job training to become a CNA in Point Loma.I do not know the name but will find out if I can for you.I will keep you posted.

They nolonger do the on the job training for CNA's in Point Loma.

They do at Fredericka Manor in Chula Vista.

There is one in Rancho Bernardo or try calling every skilled nursing facility in our area maybe you get lucky one of them offers on the site training plus you get paid.

We will soon get our accreditation to offer CNA training but it is not free, if you are looking for an onsite training there are a couple of places too in san diego.

Our training will be in san diego @ clairemont the onsite ones I know a place in rancho bernardo but in your area I do not know you have to call those skilled nursing facilities and ask them if they do an on site training and you get paid as well there is also a place in el cajon that gives on site training.

it is not an online training but an on-site training at the same time you get paid only here in san diego
