I have a question. I am a 50 year old female, and considering going back to school. I'd really like to pursue a career in this field, but worry that I am too old. I'd appreciate any remarks or suggestions.

Can you shadow a COTA in various settings. Being a therapist can be very physically demanding at times. There is some lifting, positioning and quick think involved.

I am 50 and worked as a COTA for over 10 years in the school setting. One thing I liked about being older was that I never had to be pregnant on the job. Now that would have been tough!
