Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming chaplain interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

Dear Rachel in Dublin:
Try these two websites: www.nacc.org --National Association of Catholic Chaplains, and www.professionalchaplains.org -- Association of Professional Chaplains. Each site has sections describing "competencies." You will be happy to see how many skills you have developed, all organized by sections. These will give that insight you want concerning what's most important to the interviewers. Therequire competencies are very comprehensive, from cultural nuance to listening skills and assessment. Please don't be nervous -- you will see just where your skills as a chaplain really do shine.
Peace and all goodness, Virginia
