What are typical chaplain salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

hmmmm...my thinking is that if money is your big motivator, find another line of work. As with any religious vocation, you should first and foremost feel a strong sense of call -- that this is the work God desires for you and nothing else much matters.

a chaplain salaries are between $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Most companies try to pay as little as possiable. If you are a well educated and trained along with CPE most companies will offer you $ 25ish per hour. Chaplain have a right to get paid a living.
