Is it hard for a Canadian with a BSc to get a chemist job in New Jersey or in US?

I am a Canadian with a BSc in chemistry and some experience in commercial laboratories. It seems like it's not easy to get a job (even an entry-level job) in the states though I don't need any sponsorship at all. Does anyone has similar problem as mine? Pls advise. Thank you!
