What are typical claims adjuster salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field? What skills should you learn to increase your salary? |

Typical starting salary is around 40K. You should get a car, health insurance with a small contribution and a 401K contribution of 6% I have been with a staff adjuster for 23 years now and make the capped salary of 68.5K a year. Thinking of making the jump to large loss property adjusting (I am a general auto/property adjuster) and making more, hopefully. The 6 day a week 60 hour grind is getting old... |

I just started with one of the top companies. Starting salary is 39,000 while you are in training for about two months, then goes to 41,000 while you are out with other adjusters and then 47,000 when you are licensed and go out on your own. |
