Hello-
I am posting this question for my non-computer friendly husband. He currently has his Class C CDL and sub contracts with a Utility company. He would like to advance his career by obtaining his Class A CDL. He passed the permit test easily, but the permit has expired and he will need to do it again. At that time he was going for his class B, but after thinking about it he wants to go for the A, with air brakes and hazmat endorsements. Do people generally need to go to an expensive driving school to pass the CDL class A test? He is very book smart and a quick study, but we are not sure what all is involved with this. Is there certain parts that are harder then others? He practiced on a friends truck, and did the pre-trip perfectly. Any advice would be being clogreatly appreciated! (We are in Indiana if that matters)
(Ps-I have the upmost repsect for you lon g haulers....especially in bad weather!!!)
