Why not call around and see if you can start your own company. I know a lady here after her divorce that is what she did. She also does new industrial/commercial cleaning. |

That would be fine, but I have been on my job for 29 years and can retire at 55 which is seven years, I don't want to lose that. I need extra income because my husband was laid off 4 months ago and because he sub-contract, he does not qualify for unemployment. Thanks for suggesting that, I have often thought about it since I clean so well. |

This sounds like a great field to have a business in! The problem, however, I think is that many business owners are going to want references and want for someone to be bonded before you can win the contract for the jobs. You will also need to have commercial equipment which I think can be costly? This is a business that I would love to get into. It seems if you can take care of those things on the checklist that I referenced, you should be able to have a thriving business with all the new construction in the building of new small retail office space and new housing construction. |

I am currently a dental assistant. I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I get the shakes vary badly and you can see that wouldn't work out well in my line of work. I am wanting something not so hands on. I am a hard worker, needing a new career. Please help!! Cleaning offices sounds perfect if anyone knows how i could get started. |
