Are jobs in this industry on the rise? Are there any sub-sectors that are growing?

Where are the jobs? Which places have the most clerical support opportunities?

I don't know myself, I am looking to get into the entry level clerical field. Since I can't do my old job physically anymore. Any ideas on where to go? Has anyone had any luck with temp. agencies?

In addition to keeping an eye on these forums, you should try visiting some of the social networking sites like LinkedIn and Ryze. You can meet some great people in the industry who have had some experience and can provide you with some good advice.

I also did a quick job search for you which will hopefully help. This is a search for Clerical Support in Seattle listed by Recruiting companies:
