Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming Clinician interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

I have found in clinical interviews that they're interested in determining how well you know your DSM codes, how well you know which therapy/modality to apply to which disorder/issue, and/or how to sufficiently assess emergent care issues. Beyond that, they want to see that you have a good grasp on boundaries, codependency issues, and want examples on how well you establish trust in relationships. These things are especially important for outpatient environments. For inpatient settings the interviews will focus on all of the above, plus assess your knowledge of medications for the most common disorders, for e.g. dosages of abilify, haldol, and other antipsychotics for psychosis. Hope this all helps
