Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming component engineer interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

Hi Amy,

No, there really aren't any typical questions - I wish there were.
I would strongly advise you to understand the companies product and the given job requirements. Are they specific as to the type of components you would be covering?
Are they manufacturing orientated, design based, etc?
I've handled mostly electrical components but my last interview
didn't care about that - they were looking more towards motivation/drive - every company is different.
but make sure you are able to tell stories how you solved
problems (what was the problem? what did you do to fix it? what was the final result?) It's a cliche but answers to the 'classic' questions are key.
