After reinstalling windows xp me several times, under network devices the PCI part has a yellow circular sign as well as an explanation mark. When I search for my network adapters none of them can be found. All I am actually wanting to do is connect to the internet. Does anyone know how I can overcome this problem? Please help if you know anything? |

Just FYI. I realize Chris's question was a long time ago, but for anyone that might have the same problem here's a suggestion. When you see an exclamation mark next to a hardware device in Device Mgr it means your OS sees the device but the device isn't working properly. Generally the first thing you would want to do is download the latest drivers from the manufactures website and install them. He says he has re-installed XP several times? Why so many times? What other problems does he have? There are a lot of possibilities here. |

Also confirming card in BIOS. |

Thats the simple fix, the OS see the card as there, thus it is seated in the slot. all you have to do is go to the maker of the cards website and download the driver on a thumb drive from a working pc and then put it on the other pc and up date the driver. Then like magic, bam it is done and working. |
