Get a CD that is made for a new computer not and upgrade or the one that comes with the system.
Set it to from the CD first and delet what ever partition you may have and install it as NTFS when it ask

You need a Win XP CD for new Computers not an up grade
Copy you photos etc to cds then boot the pc and hit the delete key or what ever it says when you reboot to get into thre bios and change the first boot to form cd
