I am an attorney and I decided that I was more interested in doing something Admin/legal instead of purely legal. After some research, I took a 1.5 year contract as a contract specialist. I have been there for a couple of months now but I am looking for something permanent. I thought that since I was an attorney with some directly related experience and 2 years worth of similar experience that I would be quite competative for permanenet contract managment positions. Maybe I just need more experience before I draw the attention of employers? It seems like employers can not deny me fast enough after I apply. Could anyone suggest how to make myself a more desierable candidate?
