One of the best supervision training books I have found is: Powell, D. (2004). Clinical Supervision in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling: Principles, Models and Methods. Jossey-Bass, San Francisco. 404 pgs. It is surely worth a look. I use it in my classes
