I have been an alcohol and drug counselor in Minnesota for 16 years. What I like best about it is working with chronic multi-cultural homeless population. What i like least about it is how management seems to overshadow good client care by overloading counselor's caseloads so that their "bottom line" as a business looks sufficient. The shortage of L.A.D.C.'s in Minnesota is resulting in counselors getting "burned out " faster while the needs of our clients continue to escalate.
