I am getting out of the army in about October 2011. I currently have 90+ transferable college credits on my way to a BA in Art. In October of 2011 i will have had 4 1/2 years in the army as Admin (Human Resource Specialist).. The thing is- i do not want to do this after the army. Prior to joining the military i worked as a substitute teacher in Killeen, TX also working at the Clements Boys and Girls Club. I wanted to be a middle school counselor. i have to finish a teaching degree and teach for two yrs before that can happen. i want to pick back up in this field. My husband and i would like to move to the Arlington/Grand Prairie area. Are there any counseling-type jobs that hire people with my current experience? 4+ yrs military admin, 3 yrs college, security clearance, and plus my substituting and Boys & Girls Club job..
