I have two years under my belt as a captain and am looking for information on what kind of work I could do in the gulf or on the mississippi. I am willing to work hard and start out at an entry-level position. Any information on how to get started please let me know. Thank you.

Your not going to find work as a captain in the gom. you need to find work as a deck hand or os so you can get the tonnage to upgrade.Then it's going to be tough without boat handling experience for the oil2gas industry.most crew boats out here are150 ft to 178 feet quaids.
