Hi... I just recently graduated a dental assisting program. I have a working interview next week and I was wondering what I specifically do on that day. I'm just not sure how to go about it. I'm really nervous so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

I had a working interview at a dental surgeons office a few years back. They just wanted me to stand in and help out where I could. They told me how to monitor breathing and clean instruments and set up trays. Basically, the dentist just wanted to see if I could pick things up quickly and would fit in with the other workers. I thought that it was a whole lot better than sitting down and telling him why I deserved the job. I just showed him that I could do it.

Does everyone that graduate from a dental assisting program have to do a working interview?
