Hi Everyone,

I'm currently working at a Dental Clinic as a Dental Assistant. By the end of this year it will be two years exact working there. The thing is i got the job on the spot only a high school graduate ,my boss had paid for our course to become x-ray certified so we can legally take x-ray for the pts. I've been thinking about getting my dental assistant certificate i heard if a dental assistant who has two years working experience and reach a certain amount of hrs can be qualified to take the national board exam without having to take any dental courses. my question is..is that true or is there other things i have to be aware of?

Thanks in advance. :)
