Does anyone have any suggestions on a good disibility coverage for dental hygienist.
Since dental hygiene is like a "slow motion car wreck" i think its a good idea for me to prepare my self for the worst.
Thank you

I would look into a larger corporate office, like a Gentle Dental or Smile Brands franchise. I just interviewed with a Smile Brands office, and they touted their benefits (every kind of insurance imaginable, 401k, free CE, etc).

Otherwise, develop a career "escape plan" - i.e., what will you do once you can't work clinically anymore? Teaching, sales, research, marketing, or maybe a different career entirely? Sometimes the best insurance is a back up plan.

Good luck!
