My wife is in her last year of Dental School in Nicaragua. She wants to come practice in the States when she is done. I was wondering what the steps are for her to become a Dentist in the States. She really wants to become a periodontal surgeon. We are just trying to research to make this transition smoother. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you can't go straight into practice here. you have to get your education here and take your boards here. from what i've heard you basically have to start over. check ADA.org
