What are the top 3 traits or skills every dentist must have to excel?

Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your dentist expertise?

You really only need an I.Q. of slightly over 100, two hands, preferably that function, and a dental license for the state you wish to practice in.
Those are the three traits that you need. Skill, real skill is really not required. As long as you can make it through the process to get your license you can go to work.
This may sound silly and not serious at all to you. But it is essentially true. You would be amazed...

I would say common sense would definitely be a trait that everyone needs. Experience in the dental field also helps big time. You can take all the college courses you want, but if you have any kinda of dental experience you're ahead of the game. Believe it or not, I've know dental lab techs who have gone to dental school and did rather well compared to someone who had a 4.0 in college. Hands skills are needed but you'd be very surprised what you don't need to get into a dental school.

Hi,
You are right. Common sense and really basic skills form the fundaments of the profession. Everything beyond the standard performance towards the excellence is
part of our LLL. I have been learning all my professional life. I passed the Cal Dent Board last June and I am looking for a job (possibly starting in July 2010).
Do you need an experienced and highly motivated associate for general dentistry? Removable orthodontic appliances, paediatric treatments, endodontics and wisdom teeth extraction are part of competences.
If so please let me know.
Thank you.
Best wishes and Happy Easter
Lydia

No, you will not. Because Ukraine is not an EU member an will never be. Is not that simple just to jump from India to Europe. Why do you want to go there? Isn't India advanced country?
