Hi Chris, I work as a support analyst for a small company which is actually doing very well in the leisure indistry, Our company designs software for leisure centres and we bascially log issues and help to resolve problems and querys when a customer calls or emails us. The type of work you will do is mainly down to the company itself, I work alot with SQL and application management. but as stated above it can vary depending on what it is the company provides. I have been work at this company for just over a year now and the team of 6 (two 2nd line 3 1st line and 1 Team leader) are very close and work together well. The job involves alot of communication between ourselves and the customers and its a very stressful role at times but it can be very rewarding aswell. I hope this gives you some insite into the sort of work an analyst does. If you have any further questions then please feel free to email me. Matthew.smith@xnleisure.com Regards, MAtt |
