I worked in dietary for over three years and besides the people that I worked with, I had a ball. the residents were awsome and always had funny stories to tell. it's not very challenging at all, all you have to do is pay attention. there are many many opportunities to learn and advance. i am in the process of becoming the manager of the kitchen that i work in. i am truely excited about it!!!

What keeps you at your job?

What I enjoy most about Dietary Aide is working with the people. Sometimes it's elderly and sometimes it's not. It could be challenging at times, but most of the times it's pretty simple. It depends on what type of work you would like to do. You could advance and become a cook or head Chef.
