I want to become a dietitian, but I often question whether it is a great career for me. I am highly interested in being one. I want a career I enjoy, and I think I would definitely love this. However, I'm sure that if I couldn't find a job it wouldn't be so thrilling.
Are any of you already a dietitian, and how long did it take for you to find employment?
When did you graduate & when did you get a job?
Did you get a bachelors or masters degree?
What did you specialize in? Is specializing important? If so, what specialty do you recommend?
I think sometimes it has to do with location, location, location! Because when i search for dietitian in my area, there is only ONE job??? Wow doesn't seem promising where I live currently. I don't mind relocating.
Are there any particular locations in the USA that are in high need of dietitians? If I were to have just a bachelors degree what is the chances of me finding and okay career?
I would be happy making 41,000 and up/year.
