I already have a driver(my uncle) and for now this is enough for me. I have the web sites from which I will get the load information. So my questions are what else do I need to do or have in place? Any special licenses? as my uncle already hauls for somebody but told me he would drive for me once I get everything started. Any other details I would have to do to get this up and running? It will be just me and my uncle for starters. |

I have considered starting the same sort of company. I have owned a few different businesses. I am familiar with the necessary paperwork to start the business. I would possibly consider doing this with you. What knowledge of the business would you be able to contribute? |

Most of the truckers/carriers work with 30 days credit and also almost all of the brokers pays in 2 days with a 2% fee. |

I'm with Freight Broker Company " Blackjack Express,Inc.,"blackjackexpress.net" and know that for sure.We offer the same to O/Ops. But you've mentioned working direct with shipper. |

Dispatch Business in Houston, Texas 18 months ago |
Hello, I offer training on how to start you very own Truck Dispatching Business from home. I own and operate my very own Dispatching Business from the comfort of my home. It has replaced my income of 6 years in the medical field. I love what I do, it is very tedious and time consuming and takes a lot of patience to work, but it has been very rewarding for the simple fact that I know that I am in total charge of my destiny and the money that I make and the very best thing is that I am my own boss. I can't get fired or laid off and that in itself is a wonderful feeling. There is a lot of money to be made in this industry; although a guarantee of income can't be made otherwise, the money that you make and the time that it takes you to start making money in this industry directly depends on your own personal efforts, motivation and determination to succeed. The cost of training begins at the very low introductory cost of $199.99 for a limited time only. For additional information, please email (Request for Additional Information) to: foreverfreedom1@sbcglobal.net |

samm in Manteca, California said: do i need a license to start my own dispatch business or just a mc and a dot number i just want a short run in ca so do i need a mc for that and how much does a mc cost and im looking for a good broker to release me short haul loads in ca Hello samm in Manteca, I reside in the state of Tx. and in Tx. there are no special licenses required in the state of Tx. to start your own Dispatching Business, with that being said, all states have different requirements and you would want to check with your local governing licensing agencies and verify that there are no special licenses required for your specific state. If you are a truck driver and would like to find your own loads, you are able to utilize any available load boards to find freight and contact shippers on your behalf, but as a truck driver, it is required to have either your California Dot and US Dot to just run California only or your Mc and your US Dot if you plan on running all 48 states. In reference to looking for a good broker to tender loads to you, there a lot of brokers out there, but do understand, brokers are not dispatchers, there jobs are to move the loads on hand for as little money and as quick as possible, a broker may find you a load going out, but they do not necessarily focus on trying to find you a backhaul. That is where a good dispatcher will benefit you or you dispatching yourself is also an option, but realize this can be very time consuming for you as a driver, when you could have someone doing that for you, while you drive and make the money. I hope this information was helpful and feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions. Thank you |
