What I'm looking for is salaries the rest of you are getting, or what you might think what I'm doing is worth based on what you're doing. I have 10 yrs experience. I used to have a couple of minions, but with the economy the way it is, I now run a one-man shop (me). Here's the rundown of the document control aspect of my job:
Creation of/revision to SAP item masters, bills of material, purchasing, source listing, & pricing information for 1 manufacturing plant and 3 sales organizations
ECO processing, quarterly metrics report, tracking for delayed implementation.
Maintain online database including e-file library & access, Master Document List, Parts Index, Software Index, Manuals Index, & External Documents List.
Maintain online access to ECOs & Temporary Deviations.
Maintain new item, software, tool, forms & document numbering system
Maintain separate document file & access system for Application Lab.
Conversion/formatting of documents as required.
Find/recreate/convert/provide drawings/documents to purchasing, engineering, etc.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP for solutions, innovations & troubleshooting capability
Interface with German counterpart to promote ÃÂ¢Ã¢âÂ¬Ã
I am also the facility Quality System Representative:
Host 1 scheduled external audit during the year, and others as needed.
Internal audit program (prepare audit packages, follow up on due dates, provide reports)
Supervise CAPA program (prepare as required, follow up on due dates, trending report)
Participate in 2 Supplier Evaluation meetings during the year
Host and prepare reports for 3 management review meetings during the year.
Interface with Corporate QA
Provide Quality Policy training.
