If you have your A license,I dont know why you would need a year otr experience. I did otr for 2 months and it was horrible, for me anyway. The only way you make any money is to never stop longer than your reset time. Being the new guy ,you are at the bottom of the list too. I was stuck at a truck stop for 4 days ,no loads for me. Then when I did get home finally,it was 2 weeks before they called with another load. If you want to relocate, you can go to N. dakota,or Colorado,Montana. You have the driving experience. One company told me ,"go otr for a year like everyone else" . Hell with them. I have 28 yrs. exp. and cant even get a local delivery job. I am getting out of trucking and construction , training for something else. Good luck man.Anyway,Schneider,Knight,CREngland,Central Refrigerated are always posting ads,go on their websites and call em. I was hired by Knight with no otr experience.
