There is plenty of work here and you dont need expensive new trucks for more info email me s2kvlad@gmail.com. They are paying 5 dollars the yard but all you need is an 85-1996 truck. |

trucks with air suspensions dont work well here. You need at least a 18,000 front and 44,000 rear. You need at least 2 axles and pretty much a nice heavy duty mechanical truck. Its hard to get a good diesel tech no electrical equipment with computers. Right now I am running a International 2574 with Cummins NTC 350 and a Freightliner with an 8V92. Mechanical labor is dirt cheap. Today I paid 50 bucks to have a pair of drums changed out and 10 dollars to have a clutch adjusted. There is plenty of work up to 5 years. I have contact with some of the best contracts in the country. There are 40 to 45 trips made bi weekly each paid by the yard of your bed. Minimal we look for is a 20 yard bed. You use around 200 galons of diesel a week at 4.50 a galon. I will manage your fleet or you can consult with me for a fee how to work here. REMEMBER YOU DONT NEED AN EXPENSIVE FLEET THEY WILL NOT FUNCTION WELL HERE. |

Vladimir , Howdy . my wife have had a interest in Panama for a while , been doing some checking ! i was told i would need a work visa ? also told i need to pass a test for driving a dumptruck in spanish ? ... i dont speeck spanish ! i have a 2006 freightliner tri axel , 621 case loader , bobcat , grader , and was looking for to start a company ,there , looks like your doing $ 4000.00 a week , any broker fees out of that ? when do you get paid , and how much does it cost to ship a truck there , say from florida , thanks for your help ..... |

I am looking to be a fleet manager and manage your fleet. I wouldnt advise you to drive your own truck. A driver here makes 500-600 a month salary. If you are serious about this email me and we will talk in a private matter. I would advise you to sell the 2006 freightliner and buy 4 or 5 older trucks. We dont have advance tech that work on electrical systems. Shipping is 2k from Florida and taxes are 3 to 5k. I can either help you out for a fee or manage your fleet. Since I have the ability to get good contracts and know reliable people. The issue here is the drivers are low lives and will steal your diesel. Also you need someone to stay on top of the truck for maintaining it. Getting a visa shouldnt be hard I can connect you with the right lawyers. |

Sounds good , probley have a hard time selling my truck here , there all over the place , woundering about the driving test in spanish , and what do you haul , sand , rock , and when the pay comes in , thank you . whats your e-mail address ? |
|
Vladimir in Panama 48 months ago |
I haul rocks and some times sands. I haul small rocks not big boulders. After maitenance, fuel and driver I am at about 2000 a week on each truck. I dont work my trucks 24 hrs a day too mines are a 1989 and a 1986 so I try to baby them more. However you bring in a 1995-1998 Mack DM you can make more than me. Ships often come and pay about 150 dollars a load to move sand. You can do this after you are done with your 7 to 4 PM contract. Dont worry about a driving test we are in the 3rd world. You slip a few dollars and get by that. However Panama offers 1st world life style if you have seen how our city looks its like Miami Beach mixed with NYC. We get paid bi weekly some times the payment is a week late tops but we get paid. They need trucks here badly. Outside of Dubai this is one of the areas with the most constuction. things are just like here , to many trucks , it was good 4 months ago , and everyone and there brother has loaded up and went there , the checks are running late , wait in line a hour to get a load , |
|
vlad in Colón, Panama 41 months ago |
lol some people wait 3 hours for loads. traffic is bad here roads are bad right now i have my trucks picking up garbage and just working for 30 dollars an hour for our local garbage company. contracts here dont mean anything companies will drop fleet prices or get rid of you when they feel like it because someone is going to do the job cheaper. i am enjoying garbage pick up my trucks run on decent roads dont go for very long distances....and they pay every 2 weeks. had a contract and a company actually took 6 months to pay me |

trucks have to be paid for clear title , you need work visa , good luck , will cost about $6,000 to ship .... better have older mack's Vlad is a good man , he can manage truck for you |
|
Vlad in David, Panama 28 months ago |
Right now you can make around 1200 or 1500 a week. However ill be honest October through Dec you wont make much. It rains too much here but if you buy old trucks that are between 8000 or 12000 you can get your money out of them. J Byrd the money here is in having contracts to dig at quarries and selling material. However that requires having an excavator which cost alot of money. You however dont need a work visa since you own the trucks. Be ready to spend around 5000 or 6000 shipping a truck with taxes and freight included. However now in Panama there are so many trucks I recomend just buying one here. I recomend anything with 280 HP plus with a henrickson or mack suspension. Stay away from airbags and trucks with computers unless its series 60. If you have at least 5 trucks you can make money. |
|
pawmjp58 28 months ago |
How do you get the quarry contract_ |
|
Vlad in David, Panama 28 months ago |
You find someone who has a quarry with permits. Certain projects buy material all the time. They will put a price like 6 dollars per yard is what they are willing to pay. Truck owners need to get paid and get about 3 per yard. You will need to lease or find an excavator which cost around 55-65 an hour if you own one even better. This is what you use to fill up the trucks. Most likely a volvo 210, cat 320, 325 or a 330 is better. You need to have enough money to pay trucks and the patience to wait about 1 month to two months for your pay check. You mostly just need an investor who has capital to keep trucks working. |

Foxluv in New York, New York said: Vlad, Hey I replied to you via email. Stay away from excavators if you arent managing your business day to day. Also I suggest excavation contract from a quarry but this requires having over 150,000 capital to work with. You have to pay dump trucks, excavator, tractor and you have to have the patience to wait 45-60 days for your check. |

I have worked as a DoD logistics planner for 5 yrs. I plan on relocating to the area when I obtain a job or when my husband retires. Any info would be appreciated. In Panama there really isnt a need for logistians. Our university has had this career for many years. We have very well qualified people we run one of the most important piece of logistic in the world the panama canal. Also most employees wont hire a foreigner. The work permit requires them to have a 200,000 bond. Why even do this if they can get a qualified person easily. Unless they are looking for a CEO who has a PHD. Who has 25 years of experience leading a multi national company. |

Hi everyone I met Vladimir Londono through the internet and i don;t really want to say how much .bs..... he told me about dump truck in Panama and all his lies. I just want to give a advice to everybody from this website that don;t believe this guy , he doesn;t really know anything about it and he make me lost around 10,000 with all his bs Now seems to be he is talking about peoples should buy excavator, nobody should believe that, Panama is full of equipment due the lie of lots peoples like Vladimir , nobody pay good. I was suppose to make a decent money with the information i got from Vlad and i lost my pants. Vladimir offer my contracts for 3 years and after i spend 55,000 in 2 dump trucks i could see he was just playing, He is not a profesional person, i know i made the mistake to listen to him but when a person offer you something is because that person has to be honest and think about the samthing could happend to him in a different way. Here in Panama nobody pay good to the dump truck and nobody is making any money. thanks... |

Vladimir did the same thing to me. He used up my truck, never did any maintenance to it. I had to recover it at his aunt's house. He still owes me money to this day. I cannot get in contact with him through any means of correspondence. He doesn't returns any phone calls and is a thief. I got into the dump truck business in Panama thinking it would be lucrative but it hasn't been at all. People want to rent your truck but when it is time for them to pay you it's a different story. I'm ready to sell my truck and try something else. -Fox |
