If ANYONE can help me out. Please let me know if there is an electrical company in Colorado that is willing to give me a chance to actually BEGIN my career as an electrician. I just moved to Colorado from Utah and I am licensed in Utah as an apprentice. this is ridiculous, because all these companies expect experience but no company is able to even help me get that experience... Have you tried the union in your state or www.neat1968.org to see if you are interested in becoming a Linemen, they have great pay and bennies. I being a woman thought I would have an easier time finding appprenticeship position since woman are a minority in the trade. No such luck. it's very hard to find apprenticeship anywhere.I'm in CT. I am actually working 4 electrican but out of ratio so I dont get credit for hours worked.

I'm looking for a job as a electrician helper,I live here in Lubbock,Tx,I have a litter bite of experices,but I know more least what to do,I have work as a helper as a pipe fitter,ans also now some welder.Thx You,Adrian Flores
