Greetings,

I spent 8 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. I was honorably discharged in 2007 and I have been trying to find a decent paying job but since my separation I have gotten nowhere. Due to this I have been forced to take minimum wage jobs to keep my (and my wife's) head (barely) above water. As it stands now its been about 4 years since I have used my skills and I fear that I am no longer marketable because of how long its been since I have used my training. I am at my wits end and fear that I will be stuck flipping burgers for the rest of my life.

If anyone has any suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate it. I can't keep going like this. My wife and I want to start a family but that is impossible with minimum wage.

Thanks in advance to anyone replying. :)
