What are typical engineer salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

Salary figures listed as being for electrical engineers in the Bristol (02809) area are far too high. Numbers you show are near the national average.
In the East Bay area, Newport and Bristol counties, salaries have been around $13 to $17 per hour since the 1990s. Only recently have I seen engineering jobs listed for $18 per hour, or more.

In Oklahoma engineers with experience are between 50K and 90K per year. The region is having an engineering shortage right now.
