Hi, I am a student seeking AAS degrees in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, CAD Engineering Technology and Medical Device Manufacturing. I should be done sometime next spring. My plan is to finish these up and get a couple years of experience and possibly pursue a degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering part-time.

I don't have a lot of job experience in the field, other than some tutoring I do with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Pro-E students in the school's computer lab.

My question for you is how did you break into the field? Is there anything you regret not studying or learning more about earlier on in your career? Rookie mistakes? Etc.

Thanks!
